This is actually a friend near and dear to my heart whose little girl was diagnosed with Tubular Sclerosis Complex (TSC). She has a passion for writing, blogging, and educating others about TSC, a disease as common as ALS, but far less known in the general public. After keeping up on all of her CaringBridge posts, I just knew she needed a larger platform where she could not only share more of Quinn’s story, but about her life in general. After her approaching her with my idea she gave me the approval to create a logo and set up her own WordPress Blog – A Cheerful Heart where she can share all of life’s adventures. Welcome to our blog, A Cheerful Heart. We truly  feel a cheerful heart makes the best medicine, despite the challenges that are thrown at us every day.   This blog will serve as a way to keep our friends and family updated on everything that is going on in our lives from Quinn’s journey with Tuberous Sclerosis and Infantile Spasms,  Cam’s efforts and interests in school and activities(most recently Triathlons) and the many adventures and misadventures of our Charlie Boy.  You may even find me share a recipe or two.  This is our journey – and we take it on with a cheerful heart.  ~ Amber
